In 2025 Goodwill Girls' High School marked its 170th anniversary under the theme Lumen Legatum — "The Legacy of Light" — a legacy ignited by faith, wisdom and service and passed down faithfully from generation to generation. The year also marked the 150th birth anniversary of Rev. Fred Goodwill and the centenary of the school being renamed in his honour.
